ADCP (current velocity) data collected from in situ imaging during RV METEOR cruise M182 in the eastern tropical North Atlantic in 2022

DOI

ADCP (current velocity) data from horizontally towed XOFOS transects in the pelagic during the RV METEOR campaign M182 in the eastern tropical North Atlantic (Cabo Verde and Mauritania) in 2022. We performed towed horizontal transects of 13-15 min at distinct depths between 0 and 1100 m water depth for imaging, and collected environmental data using an acoustic Doppler current profiler (Teledyne RDI WorkHose Broadband ADCP, 1200 kHz) , which was mounted on XOFOS. This dataset contains the recorded current velocities from bin 6 (ca. 1000.25 mm distance from XOFOS, recording every 10 seconds) for the transects.
