PMIP3-based Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) pre-industrial (PI) anomaly fields for addition to PI ocean model forcing, version 2

Data optimized for use as ocean modeling forcing fields for last glacial maximum time-slice modelling based on PMIP3 output. The data includes specific humidity, downwelling longwave and shortwave radiation, precipitation, wind (v and u components), temperature and sea surface salinity (SSS). It is based on the difference between the piControl and lgm runs of PMIP3 models CNRM-CM5, IPSL-CM5A-LR, MIROC-ESM, GISS-E2-R and MRI-CGCM3. The data are annual data provided on a Gaussian 192×94 (lon×lat) grid (except for sea surface salinity, which is provided on a regular 1×1 degree grid) and presented such that regridding or other adjustments should be straightforward with NetCDF toolkits such as CDO or NCO. This is a newer version of doi.org/10.11582/2019.00011. The .md5 files contain the checksum of the .nc files of the same name.
