Replication Data for: Unraveling the role of wet and dry areas on carbon emissions in an intermittent Mediterranean stream

This data package contains data used to study carbon fluxes in a Mediterranean intermittent stream, Fuirosos. It includes:

Physicochemical and biogeochemical data, collected every 2–3 weeks in both the wet area (with surface water) and the dry area (exposed sediments) of the stream.

CO₂ and CH₄ flux data, measured in the wet section. CO₂ fluxes were recorded daily using a high-frequency sensor, while CH₄ fluxes were measured during field campaigns every 2–3 weeks.

An R script, developed to analyze the relationships between environmental variables and greenhouse gas fluxes, identifying the main drivers under dry and wet conditions.
