Microbial diversity and analysis of PKS and NRPS in the marine sponge Callyspongiya diffusa using whole metagenomic approach

The study is to explore the diversity of sequences assigned the nonribosomal peptide synthetases (NRPSs) and polyketide synthases (PKSs) genes in the marine sponge associated microbial community allowing us greater insight into potentially novel synthetic pathways of antimicrobials using whole metagenomic approach. The sample MS_01_R1 denotes the forward strand of whole metagenomic sequencing of Callyspongiya diffusa.
