Climate Data Vent, Ötztal Alps, 1935-2011

The climate data has been recorded in Vent, at an elevation of 1890 m a.s.l. The weather station (10°54'45'' E, 46°51'30'' N) is located close to the village (200 inhabitants) on the valley floor at the Southern end of the South-North extending Ötztal.The standard weather station is part of the meteorological network of the Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics, University Innsbruck. Daily values of air temperature (2 m) at 07:00, 14:00, 19:00 and 21:00 MOZ, maximum and minimum temperature and precipitation have been recorded between 1935-2011. Earlier data back to 1866 is available on request.
