Symptoms of depression are associated with physical inactivity but not modified by gender or the presence of a cardiovascular disease; a cross-sectional study.

The datasets contains all data used for analyses in the research described our paper. The paper addresses the association between depressive symptoms (PHQ) and physical inactivity (RAPA), while adjusting for adjusted for the potential confounders; score on the PAM questionnaire, age and smoking, gender and whether or not suffering a CVD. Furthermore, we explored if the association between symptoms of depression and physical inactivity was different between primary and secondary prevention patients, and between men and women, by adding the interaction terms (primary/secondary prevention groupPHQ-9 and genderPHQ-9 respectively) to separate models. Both the full text paper and the methods (including references) are attached. Data that we used were collected from a RCT that was part of the international Tailored Implementation for Chronic Diseases (TICD) project. In the SPSS file, the variables are labelled, a clear description can be found as well in the READ_ME_FIRST_METHODS file.
