(Table T1) Calcareous nannofossil abundance of ODP Hole 171B-1051A sediments

Sediment depth is given in mbsf. Smear slides were prepared for each of the recovered samples using Norland Optical Adhesive as the mounting medium. Slides were routinely examined under an Olympus binocular polarizing microscope (BX type) with a magnification of 1500x. Abundances are given in counts, <1 = traces, ?1 = questionably present.
