State of Knowledge and Gap Areas Analysis on Climate Change in Inuit Nunangat (Inuvialuit Settlement Region, Nunavut, Nunavik and Nunatsiavut)

The project first completed an environmental scan to articulate and explicate the realm of Inuit-specific issues around climate change and adaptation which support the literature review conducted. Subsequently, a list of individuals, experts, and organizations were identified to interview and locate appropriate and pertinent Inuit-specific literature on climate change and adaptation in the Arctic. Finally, research methodology was developed to ensure regional Inuit engagement to conduct larger climate change and adaptation research project.
