Coastal Erosion: National Park Service Alaska Region Inventory & Monitoring Program

By using high resolution aerial photography coastlines in NW Alaska were georectified in 1950, 1985, and 2003. Changes to the shoreline (erosion and accretion) between these years was calculated. A new shoreline will be mapped in 2014 to add to this data set.
