Internal stress raw data (Stress Logger HSVA) of sea ice during MOSAiC expedition, legs 1, 2 and 3

DOI

The IDEAL Ice Force Panel System is a stress sensor system designed for use under harsh conditions, e.g. extreme weather. It is especially suitable for the measurement of internal ice forces in compressive ice. The measurement system consists of three pressure panels, which are connected to a data logger. Furthermore, the system includes a W-Lan Router for remote data transfer and UPS batteries allowing to bridge short periods of missing external power supply.
