Interview with ‘Aiyd the shepherd. Interview took place in the field, therefore no voice recording (or transcription) is available. Language of the notes is Dutch only. 'Aiyd remembers the time that many people lived in caves; which were later used as storage. He knows many stories from the Ottoman period and the conflicts between Ottomans and Bedouin. He knows the past from stories and now he tells his nephews about the area. He has some stories about djinns. At the end we walk around and he shows us some of the caves that were used as a house or storage in the past.
