Meteorological Ocean Buoy (MOB) data in Baffin Bay

The buoy was deployed at every full station for a minimum of 2 hrs and maximum of 15 hrs. It was deployed most of the time by zodiac at least 100-200 m away from the ship influence. The deployment was such that the waves met the buoy before they reached the ship. At many occasions it was deployed by A-frame from the front deck. The data type is Datawell properietary format .RDT and .SDT which was extracted into *.csv (comma separated value) format. Main variables of interest are wave height, wave steepness, and wave energy.
