Inorganic nutrients measured on water bottle samples during POLARSTERN cruise PS94 (ARK-XXIX/3)

DOI

Per station different casts can exist. Depth and pressure come from the CTDs. Three different CTD systems have been used all from Seabird Electronis. See information in the cruise report (Schauer, 2016).The nutrients phosphate (after Murphy & Riley, 1962), silicate (after Strickland & Parsons, 1968), nitrite and nitrate (after Grasshoff et al., 1983) were analysed in an air-conditioned lab container with a continuous flow auto analyser (Technicon TRAACS 800). In-between runs reproducibility better than 1.0 % , but typically 0.8% of its average value.
