CO2 Exchange from Pond sediments in the Hudson Bay Lowland

Clear acrylic chambers were used to monitor benthic CO2 uptake and release from sediments in a shallow pond from June to August 2007 near Churchill Manitoba. Fluxes were obtain using the rate change of dissolved oxygen using pulsed oxygen sensors (YSI600QS)assuming photosynthetic and respiratory quotients of unity for the bottom sediments.
