Interviewcollectie Stichting Mondelinge Geschiedenis Indonesië, interview 1038

De geïnterviewde werd als marinier opgeleid in Amerika. Eind 1945 ging de geïnterviewde naar Indië. Hij zag het KNIL gedeeltelijk als een soort politiedienst. Hij vond dat strijd voorkomen had kunnen worden. Men had alleen het kapitaal moeten beschermen. De geïnterviewde zat niet onafgebroken in dienst en werkt een tijd voor lokale firma's in Indonesië.
