DOI

This data set contains information on woody plant species with a diameter at breast height (d.b.h) greater than 10 centimeters in the mountains of Costa Rica. One of the files contains information about secondary tropical forest of 25 years old, along the slopes of the volcano Turrialba (from 600 to 2700 meters above sea level). The other file contains information about old growth forest composition along the Atlantic slopes of the Talamanca mountain range (from 400 to 2900 meters).
