Exploring the “implementation gap” in land registration: how it happens that Ghana's official registry contains mainly leaseholds

This research aimed at investigating the implementation gap between the legalities and practicalities of land rights inclusion and exclusion in the Ghanaian official land register. We looked at the stakeholders that participate in the registration process as well as the stages of registration where their activities are located.
