Absolute abundance data of the ichthyofauna collected in the Praquiquara river basin during the period from July 2017 to June 2018. These data provide an analysis of the two climatic periods of the Amazon region (dry and rainy). For the collection was used drag and sweep nets. There were 32 species of fish distributed in 4 orders (Characiformes, Siluriformes, Gymnotiformes and Perciformes) and 11 families (Serrasalmidae, Erythrinidae, Anostomidae, Curimatidae, Acestrorhynchidae, Characidae, Callichthyidae, Loricariidae, Heptapteridae, Electrophoridae and Cichlidae).
