Field measurements of sea-ice thickness, snow depth, freeboard and sub-ice platelet-layer thickness on the land-fast ice of Atka Bay in 2012, Version 1

Version 1, 2011-07-06. Please refer to the newest Version (see "Replaced by" reference).We continued our regular measurements of sea-ice thickness, snow depth and freeboard between June 2012 and February 2013 at six stations distributed evenly over a transect along the land-fast sea ice of Atka Bay. In addition, we determined the thickness of the sub-ice platelet layer with a modified thickness tape.
