WikiPathways is a continuously updated, and machine readable database of biological pathways. These pathways describe which genes, protein, and metabolites interact with each other to give rise to a biological process. Using identifiers for these three biological entities, links to other life sciences data bases are made (Uniprot, NCBI, Ensembl, HMDB, etc). It also allows mapping experimental omics data to be visualized on top of these pathways. From the WikiPathways Website all data is available under a Creative Commons Attribution license. This current dataset is a release created on the basis of the pathways from November 11, 2015.
