When is Spending Time with Peers Related to Delinquency? The Importance of Where, What and With Whom. Crime and Delinquency. A face to face interview to record the daily activities of participants using the Space Time Budget Method. The study is designed to test various theories of crime and offending, in particular Situational Action Theory developed by Wikstrom (e.g. Wikstrom, 2006; 2009). The study instruments measure theoretical constructs at the individual, family, peer, school, and neighborhood level.
