Sea ice drift from autonomous measurements from buoy 2016P46, deployed during POLARSTERN cruise PS101 (ARK-XXX/3)

DOI

Sea ice drift was measured by Surface Velocity Profiler 2016P46 drifting on Arctic sea ice. The buoy was deployed on second year ice without drogue during POLARSTERN cruise ARK-XXX/3 (PS101). The time series describes the position of the buoy between 29 Sep 2016 and 30 May 2017 in sample intervals of 30 minutes. The data set has been processed, including the removal of obvious inconsistencies (missing values).
