Model results of bubbly ice densification for RICE

DOI

Model Results Information:The model results are from the bubbly ice densification model of Salamatin and Lipenkov (see references). The model was applied to 6 different close-off depths (40-65 m), using measured RICE porosity as a tuning parameter, to model the pressure increase in bubbles at depth. All model parameters can be found in the model output text files for the 6 different model runs. They are described in detail in the references.Output parametres:h: Depth [m]C: Porosity []Ccal: Modeled porosity []Pb: Mean Bubble Pressure [MPa]Pbcal: Mean Bubble Pressure Modeled [MPa]Pi: Averaged pressure in the ice matrix [MPa]Age: ice age [kyr]
