Thyasirid bivalve collection from around Baffin Island, Nunavut

Thyasirid bivalves were collected by sieving sediments collected using box cores aboard the Amundsen, from 2015 to 2017, around Baffin Island and at Saglek Bank. Specimens were preserved in either ethanol (for DNA extraction), in glutaraldehyde (for transmission electron microscopy) or frozen (for stable isotope analysis). Symbiont presence was assessed using transmission electron microscopy, and bacterial symbiont identification performed using 16S rRNA sequencing.
