Development and Validation of a Dense 18-Year Time Series of Surface Water Fraction Estimates from MODIS for the Mediterranean Region

In this paper, we developed a time series of surface water fraction maps at 500 m spatial resolution and 8-day temporal resolution over 18 years (2000-2017) for the Mediterranean region.
