Grain-size distribution of surface sediment samples from SONNE cruise SO260 and METEOR cruise M78

DOI

The aim of this study is to establish a clearer link between contourite features and the oceanographic processes that form them. The data was collected during R/V SONNE cruise SO260 in 2018 and R/V Meteor cruise M78/3 in 2009. Grain size analyses were performed on bulk sediment samples with a Beckman Coulter Laser LS 13 320 at MARUM laboratories using Sodium hexametaphosphate as a dispersant.
