Geotechnical data synthesis for GIS-based fault zone analysis: Geodatabase, downtown San Diego, CA

Includes an ESRI ArcMap project (created with version 10.2.2) with geotechnical data from the downtown San Diego region. Data include CPT logs, boring logs, trench logs, cross section logs, hand auger logs, seismic logs, and test pit logs. The 268 reports included in the study yielded a total of 2,020 georeferenced data points. These data points are made up of five seismic lines, six hand auger locations, 54 test pit locations, 189 cross section locations, 290 CPT locations, 554 trench locations, and 922 boring locations. Data were used to map fault zones and assign hazard classification.

For full description of project contents see the included metadata file.
